Follow Your Dreams .....

About me:

Born in a village on Tutuba Island - I never really knew my true roots as my father passed away when I was very young.
I was the brought up by family & friends on different islands in different villages.
Struggling in school I made it through with good marks enabling me to accept my first employment position teaching at the Lonnoc Beach School of Hospitality & Tourism.

The children of Vanuatu often find it a struggle to become educated as a lot of the time, they live inland away from the schools and the parents don't work or have meager jobs gardening and just can not raise the funds for the school fees... so you will also find on this site some sponsorship information if you feel you would like to help a Vanuatu family (See here) This is one of our other projects,  and to date we have helped to put many children through school, college , back with parents on outer islands, helped amputees....and so on. Please take a look through the pages and see the amazing things we can do with just a little help from friends.. It doesn't take much to change a life..

Exciting news & opportunity for me - FLK

Applications were invited from all Commonwealth citizens to represent their country in a mass musical and cultural performance.

The ‘Uniting the Commonwealth through music during COVID-19’ project is a never-before attempted musical feat to combine the voices of 54 musicians from the 54 member countries in one powerful virtual performance.

Delivered in partnership with a professional music group, Dionysus Ensemble, the project will demonstrate the power of music and art to lift spirits, improve mental health and encourage international camaraderie, as countries face up to the challenges of the pandemic.

I  have been selected to represent Vanuatu in this performance! (Only 1 artist per country selected)

I am so proud to be part of this amazing production!

Please like, comment and share my introductory video on both YouTube & Facebook – to spread the word of this amazing opportunity and ensemble uniting the Commonwealth countries and talented artists.

Please also comment on the other artists’ videos congratulating and encouraging them to keep going through this arduous process – but it will be well worth it to see the end product.

Thank you everyone for your support.

This is my Introductory video - but the Uniting Commonwealth Production release date is December 18th 2020

A look inside of the life of Freddy Leky - aka FLK - and how he came to find his love of music & songwriting.
